I got a 1390 and B average at oneDec 18 2007Mechanical Engineering
i got a 1390 and B average at one of the best prep schools in the country and got in.

but, most of my friends got in with under 1200 sat scores. they all, however, had B+/A-/A averages in public school.

SAT score does NOT matter if you have a REALLY GOOD GPA.
SAT: 1390 Female

I transferred to the university park campus from theOct 07 2007Communications
I transferred to the university park campus from the delaware county campus. This transition was not smooth and it was very difficult to find someone helpful. It was like an obstacle course to even talk to someone, let alone get answers and advice. It was very frustrating and I suggest just going to the main campus out of high school if your grades are admissable.
SAT: 1100 Male
Give a clear picture to an international student ,Jul 23 2007Education
give a clear picture to an international student , about the university and its policies. Please ...don't pretend to be the best uni....u r not, though not bad also. on the website...do give some negative instances and experiences too.....penn state gives a rosy picture all the way.....though it is not true.
I went to a satellite campus (Beaver) for a yearApr 24 2007Agriculture/Horticulture
I went to a satellite campus (Beaver) for a year. When you want to leave they make it difficult, I guess they'd like you to stay their as long as possible (Beaver is boring).
But really didn't have to do that much to get in.
SAT: 940 Male
Um, to be honest, I don't remember writing anyJan 21 2007Business - Management and Administration
Um, to be honest, I don't remember writing any essays or personal statements, not even 2-sentence paragraphs. I don't know if I forgot or if they just don't require international applicants to do so. I just remember typing in the number of years I did each core subject, and things that really didn't take a brain cell to fill out - like name, address (just make sure you can get those right), what campuses you're interested in applying to. I guess taking a lot of honors/AP courses can help you, but I don't think they're necessary.
SAT: 2220 Female
